road trip day arrived.
left house at 820am.
on schedule.
no traffic despite the big game: Texas-OU in the cotton bowl.
perfect weather.
ARRIVED.
what?
streets closed.
police everywhere directing traffic.
free parking lot filled.
white tents all around magnolia.
Silobration annual weekend at the silos ??!!
"busiest weekend of the year" said the first person i saw.

despite all the planning -
i somehow missed this important minor detail.

30 minutes just to make it to the front door.
gridlock inside.
slowly make our way through the store.
loading our arms with good stuff.
30 minutes in line to check out.
making friends along the way.
