book club lunch today !
loved this book and have had it on my TBR pile for years.
emotionally moving in so many ways.
i had a hard time coming up with a party favor this month
but thought that potted sunflower seeds really
represented the strength and endurance of the women in this book.
wish i would have thought of this 2 weeks ago.
would have been cuter if they were sprouting !

looks like we might have a little storm heading our way tonight.
school is already cancelled for all the boys tomorrow.
firewood is sold out - glad i went out this afternoon and stocked up.
stocked up in texas = 10 pieces of wood !
the lines were long at the stores and the shelves were bare.
let's see what happens overnight !
maybe the highways will be closed and i won't have to go to work tomorrow !
