small everyday memories this week:
++tracking the ups delivery of my new dyson. the old one just turned seven and was slowly fading away.
found a new one an sale and couldn't resist any longer.
funny story about finding water in it one day....
++nathan announced at dinner last friday that he wanted to learn more about the johnstown flood of 1889
(because all 14 year olds say this...?)
so off to the library we went and found a great dvd and book.
looking forward to movie night tomorrow!
thanks to erin who lent us "the men who built america" dvd series -
this is where nate first heard about the flood.
++colin wanted to find a picture of his lego alcatraz he built several years ago
so we pulled out all the scrapbook albums and paged through them till we found it.
nothing better then watching him read all the stories of everyday memories
from years gone by.
++the boys all took the wonderlic test this week.
i'm still too scared to try.....we already know that they are smarter than their parents!
some impressive scores.
++congrats to mike, sandra & luke !
the family is about to get bigger this november!
++signing two high school course approval forms this week.
wonder if they'll sit together on the bus ?
hahaha......
++justin saved the day by having some 0.5mm papermate lead
in his backpack - we share the same writing instrument fetish.
its the only pencil we can use!
++"mom, what do i wear if i'm going to a formal?"
asked nathan.
google did NOT know the answer to this question.
