i finished reading the paris wife at 6am this morning.  a deeply evocative story of ambition and betrayal, the paris wife captures a remarkable period of time and a love affair between two unforgettable people: ernest hemingway and his wife hadley. it is a book that will draw you in regardless of your dread of hemingway in high school.  i had a hard time putting this book down. i loved paula mclains way with words, her ability to transport one to paris in 1920's and her unique perspective. worth the wait for this library book.
