5am - colin to school for field day.

7am - nate to school early for all day 8th grade field trip to

six flags san antonio.

9am - steve departed for buffalo.

10am - we hit the domain for shopping & north for lunch on the patio.

3pm - pick up colin

6pm - pick up justin

8pm - pick up nathan

9pm - zpizza, table topics and the impossible.

midnight - crash

off to bed early, colin has to be at school at 5am

tomorrow for field day !

tonight we were treated to the sounds of the hopewell middle school band

at their annual spring concert.

nice job nathan!

this is officially the end of your trumpet career &

we loved the sounds that have filled the house each evening

as you have practiced over the past three years.

don't worry PAC center, we'll see you soon with 

colin on the stage!

because nathan wanted to know more about the johnstown flood,

we all watched the dvd tonight.

i had never even heard of it,

must of been absent that day of school.

i love it that the boys are so interested 

in american history, 

we are all smarter for it!

busy day here filled with band field trips to six flags,

centex flag football tournaments and papa murphy pizza!

hot and sunny memories for all!

this is what i would see at nathans junior historian club meeting today.

i would love to swing by the eighth grade formal dance

at school tonight and then buzz over to ihop afterwards

loving my new project life binder.

busy working on april !

mothers day was a beautiful day for me.

i was blessed with cards and tulips before church

and brunch after church.

sunny & warm today - perfect day for shorts & flip-flops!

we spent the afternoon getting nathan ready for his

big formal dance this friday night.

our sunday night traditions continue -

papa murphy & celebrity apprentice around the fire pit!

couldn't ask for a better day!

saturday in review.

justin & nathan spent the day at bob bullock museum

on their junior historian field trip.

i spent the morning training at work for epic.

colin spent the day on the field in the season ending tournament.

we checked off many to-do things on our list this afternoon.

we hit tiffanys, nordstroms & whole foods.

since we were downtown picking up the boys,

we checked out another new burger joint on our 

quest for the best burger in central texas.

we hit the jackalope bar as recommended in austin monthly

but we had to leave because we all were not over 21 years old.

we hit their sister bar next door for their burger -

great people watching as we sat on the corner of 6th and trinity

but the burgers didn't hit our top five list.

the search continues & the journey around town is half the fun!

a new guitar string for justin, prepping an egg bake for brunch

and an episode of modern family finished our busy day.

many miles traveled today.

many memories made by all.

your teachers presented you with the "revolutionaries" book

at todays year end celebration.

just finished this book.

i actually did not care for it in the beginning but

once i got into it, i loved it.

a couple twists i didn't see coming.

4.5 out of 5 stars.

just a unique, different book with each sentence

beautifully written.

as justin was walking out the door to catch the bus this morning,

he caught me struggling with my daily sudoku puzzle.

(it usually takes me a day or two to complete one puzzle,

it takes justin about 12 minutes!)

he said to me,

"mom if you get stuck, just take a picture and send it

to me and i'll see if i can help you."

good stuff!

current sunday night papa murphy pizza tradition.

after dinner. after homework. after showers.

we hit the back patio for s'mores and celebrity apprentice.

its the perfect wind down after a bust weekend.

its the perfect recharge for the week ahead.

its the perfect way to sneak in a couple family minutes together.

theres something about traditions that i just love......
