#1) he willingly gave up his seat a chess club due to an odd number of children attending.

#2) he wears me hand-me-downs without complaining.

#3) he gave of his time and served on the safety patrol team at school.

#4) he makes us laugh.

#5) he never asks for anything except this new book -

how could we say 'no.'

monday review.

colin & nathan went to locked-in friday night.

at 11pm.

at gattiland.

they had football games saturday.

so, i picked them up at 3am.

they hope next time they can stay till 7am.

talk about making memories.

saturday football - 1 team won & 1team lost.

chilly fall day. jacket weather.

steves homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner.

official sign that fall has arrived.

we watched state of play - great movie with russel & ben.

nathan is still talking about it being

such a great financial deal - 2 movies with glasses

for only 6.50 per person.

for 4 hours of theater time.

PLUS the glasses!

gotta love his mind/perspective/thought process.

i think i enjoyed it as much as the boys.

holiday weekend is almost over.

found myself reading it just to finish it.

perfect timing to start a new book.

saturday morning clouds.

the lions were awake & roaring.

looking good in their away color shorts & headbands.

they were dressed to win.

the afternoon clouds gave way to rain

for almost the entire game.

the teams were definitely not used to these conditions.
wet field & slippery ball were just obstacles

for the patriot team.

they were up for the challenge.

and won!

rain or shine.
saturday football is filled with great friends,
great teams & great memories! off to sonic for winning players.
nothing like a double cheeseburger and a
chocolate shake to celebrate.
